Reducto ("we", "our", "us") is a privacy-first PDF, Excel, and Word redaction tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information Reducto collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using Reducto, you agree to the practices described below.

1 Offline-first processing

Reducto is built to process your documents entirely on your device. When you redact a PDF, Excel sheet, or Word document, the file is never uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud service.

• Your files never leave your computer.
• No document content is transmitted over the internet during redaction.
• Redaction, previews, and exports all happen locally, in an isolated secure sandbox.

2 Information we do not collect

Because Reducto works offline by default, we do not collect, store, or have access to:

• The contents of any PDF, Excel, or Word file you process.
• Names, emails, phone numbers, bank details, SSNs, PAN numbers, or any other sensitive data detected or redacted within your documents.
• Copies or backups of your original or redacted files.
